Stops charge/discharge outside safe voltage, current, or temperature windows for that pack.
A BMS is not optional decoration. It opens for a reason: voltage, current, temperature, or cell imbalance. Resetting without diagnosis invites a repeat trip.

United Mobile RV is a Victron Professional Certified Installer. Inverter/chargers and solar controllers must be set to respect the battery maker’s limits — the BMS is the last line, not the charge algorithm.
Stops charge/discharge outside safe voltage, current, or temperature windows for that pack.
Keeps cells closer together over time. Persistent imbalance needs diagnosis, not endless “reset.”
Some packs talk CAN/Bluetooth to displays or inverters. Follow the battery maker — we do not invent proprietary protocols here.
Many LiFePO4 packs reduce or inhibit charge near/below freezing unless heated. Confirm your manual — no universal cutoff invented here.
Read the app/alarms, check for obvious loose lugs, verify charger profiles match the battery.
Repeated BMS trips, inverter low-voltage shutdowns, or a new lithium install — Prefer Text with pack brand and Victron error text if any.
Forums love parts lists. A meter, a scale ticket, or a cold pressure check usually beats a guess. Bring photos when you Prefer Text — year, make, and a clear shot of the fault beat a long thread.
Owners can inspect, document, and do basic setup from manufacturer manuals. Stop when you smell burning, see structural damage, or the fix needs sealed systems, gas work, or high-current DC you are not trained for.

This guide is education. It is not a guarantee, not a certification class, and not a reason to skip manufacturer instructions or local safety rules.
If brakes, tires, propane, or CO are involved, no — stabilize and get help. Cosmetic and planning items can wait.
Parts are quoted after diagnosis. We travel the corridor with common tools and meters; special-order parts are called out before work proceeds.
